ERATE
The E-Rate program is an annual disbursement of $2.25 billion dollars nationwide. Created by the Telecommunications Reform Act of 1996, these funds have been earmarked by the federal government to ensure that all eligible schools and libraries have affordable access to modern telecommunications and information services.
Spectrum Communications has been a top 10 provider of network infrastructure, known as Internal Connections, since the beginning of the E-Rate program.
